KaMaalGaadi- The trunk show at MaalGaadi

This is one of those posts where I really don’t need to say much, instead will let these beautiful clothes to do the talking. To cut a long story shot, when Shahin asked if I’d like to be a part of the curtain raiser photo shoot for MaalGaadi’s trunk show- KaMaalGaadi 3.0, I said sure. I got my friend Shannon to join me, and it didn’t take much to convince her that it was going to be a fun girly afternoon. An interesting twist is that Shannon is most often the photographer for most of my events and previous posts and is responsible for many of the stunning photos you will find on my blog, so having her this side of the camera was different, but so much fun. Let me start by gushing about this amazing collection by Siddhartha Bansal. We spent a fair bit of time ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ over our outfits and I will confess that I did more than my fair share of twirling in my skirt. Can you blame me? Just look at it! Siddhartha Bansal’s Autumn-Winter 2017 line is everything that I love about modern Indian wear. Wear these pieces as a set, or mix and match, the options are endless and work across a wide range of events. A wedding, Sangeet or even a red carpet appearance. Shannon chose to go with a flowy bell sleeved top, while I went the off-shoulder route with a lovely velvet piece.Our instructions were just to have fun and we did just that, basking in the beauty of what we were wearing. And you’ve got to love these detail shots, I spent quite some time admiring them. And the best part is there’s more of this at MaalGaadi in a dazzling array of colours and combinations. A real feast for the eyes.
